As a board certified (ABEM) Emergency Medicine Provider, Dr. Grossman has over 30 years of clinical experience in the field and is excellent in the management of acute injuries and illnesses. He is adept at minor surgical procedures and wound repair.

Can I walk into BUCS if I have a medical emergency?

All walk-ins are accepted. Dr Grossman is a residency trained, Board Certified Emergency Physician and we can do an evaluation. Dr. Grossman can treat acute injuries. We are excellent at suturing and the care of acute lacerations and wounds. Some patients who we see are advised to go or be transferred to a nearby ER.

When should I go to BUCS or go to the emergency room at the hospital? It is often difficult for a person to know.

This is difficult decision to make. Without training, it is impossible to know for sure and the ER can be very expensive and time consuming. We are happy to help you make this decision or treat your condition if clinically indicated.

How do I know if I am having a true emergency?

It is extremely difficult for anyone to know if he / she is experiencing a true emergency. The ER can be a very expensive, time-consuming and unpleasant experience. Dr. Grossman is a residency trained, board-certified, licensed ER physician. He, his associates and staff are dedicated professionals. We will give you our professional best based on our extensive knowledge, training, and experience.

Does Bucs take emergency phone calls 24 seven?

We are not set up for this at present, but we are new in the community and our mission, and our values are to do all we can to ensure the health, safety, convenience and satisfaction of our patients / clients. So, please call if you must in the middle of the night even at 2:00 am on a Monday morning. Someone may be available to help, or someone will call you back first thing in the morning.

Is it cheaper to go to BUCS for minor medical emergencies?

Our prices are competitive with any urgent care facility. We are more affordable and convenient than the Emergency Department.

Can I just walk in with a non-urgent medical issue?

All walk-ins are welcome.

Can I pay cash for a minor medical emergency?

We take all forms of payment and you can pay with cash. We will give you a discount if you pay with cash.
